Domain Names & Hosting:
Godaddy.com
You will need to pick up at least two (2) domain names for your internet marketing business. The first domain will be for branding purposes such as a blog and the other will be for your initial squeeze page. I don’t recommend that you host with Godaddy.com as there are equally good services for less as I will describe below. As for your branding domain, try to pick up your name with a dot com extension. Avoid underscores or dashes as they aren’t natural for other people to input in the address bar. You will want to select a second domain name with the MLM or Network Marketing keyword. I usually use an excel spreadsheet to plug in all the domains I think of and note whether they are available or not. This helps avoid duplicated effort and a waste of my time in the future.

HostGator.com
HostGator offers unlimited domains with one account, and is extremely reliable and affordable when selecting them to host your domains. They are a much better option than Godaddy when it comes to hosting. They have C-Panel which is something you will need to power your blogs and/or websites. HostGator is very easy to use and they provide some excellent video tutorials on how to use your new tools. I was able to transfer my domains from Godaddy to HostGator in less than 5 minutes. I was also able to set up my blog in less than 10 minutes through C-Panel by using Fantasico. I can’t recommend them enough.

In this section I will spend a little more time analyzing the products. These products require more thought on how you will implement them into your overall internet marketing campaign. The usage of these products comes down to valuing your time. One of my investment criteria for products is determined by how many people can I reach, attract, and eventually sponsor compared to either a one-time investment or monthly recurring payments.
