Reason #1: Your Up-line – Your up-line has been teaching you traditional old school sales and prospecting methods that no longer work in today’s environment.  Let’s be clear that you don’t have 2-5 years to build your business online.  We don’t have the time and patience to wait that long.  By following their game plan you’re building a 2-5 year business with a 97% chance of failure.  They also don’t tell you that you’re not in the sales business.  We’re in the marketing business.  Sales are for salesman and it’s possible that you’re an amazing salesman, but most of us struggle with that every day.  Don’t get me wrong because you can have some success with those old school techniques but the fact is that it really only works for about 3% of the people who get into the business.  The other 97% of us are left to struggle to reach any real type of income.  And this leads us into reason #2.

Reason #2: Your Business Opportunity – The problem might not be with your company. The problem is with how your up-lines have taught you to market and promote your business opportunity, and how the majority of people try to apply those same principals online.  You see, once you start marketing online, especially with social networking such as Facebook and Twitter, most people make the mistake of presenting themselves as a salesman.  And the simple fact is nobody likes a salesman.   If this is what you’re doing on these sites then that’s exactly the position you’re putting yourself into.  You’ve become your own worst enemy.  Now you know why you’re not getting any signups, why you’re not getting any leads or any interest at all after spending hours of posting links on different websites and different social networks promoting your business opportunity.  You simply cannot go online and start promoting your business without knowing how.  This is the fastest way to go broke and a waste of your time.  But there is a better way with proven results. You can throw out what you know right out the window because the strategy you need to employ is completely backwards from what you’ve been taught.  However, it is the most important thing you can learn in order to have huge success promoting your business online.

Reason #3: Quality Leads – Even after learning some of the online strategies, the main problem for online business owners is generating quality LEADS online.  It’s really simple to generate 1, 2, or maybe even 5 leads a day but that won’t get you to a 6 figure annual income.  The secret to marketing your business online is that you have to generate 25 leads per day on average to create a 5 figure monthly income.  I’m here to tell you right now that if you’re not generating 25-30 leads per day then you’re not going to making any big time profit in your business anytime soon.  Generating leads needs to be your number one focus.

Reason #4: Marketing Training – Finally, the 4th reason is a lack of marketing training.  If you haven’t been able to generate 25 leads per day then it’s because you haven’t received the proper marketing training.  You haven’t learned how to use the most effective and working marketing strategies.  Marketing on the internet changes daily and what works today might not work 3 to 6 months from now.  You need to constantly learn new strategies in order to dominate your market.  Until then you won’t be able to quit your job.
